Penetrating Damp
Penetrating damp appears due to cracks or damage in your exterior brickwork. Water can enter from any damages to the exterior of your property, you can spot the damp as it will resemble puddle marks on your walls or plaster beginning to crumble.
Condensation
Condensation occurs when humid air cannot adequately ventilate from your property. A lack of ventilation will lead to condensation which can end up causing black mold. Black mold is very dangerous for any tenants and prolonged exposure can cause adverse health issues.
Below Ground Damp
If your basement or retaining walls are not properly damp proofed, then below ground damp cam being to appear. This damp will slowly begin to rise into the home causing a lot of damp damage, it is easily treated if spotted early enough.
